Creating Custom Viewer Themes
Anyone can customize the way Issuu looks by changing the look for our standalone viewer, also called the theme or sometimes just skin. It's easy getting started: Check out the guides below. You can insert your own logo, change the colors of buttons and background and much more. If you're a hardcore developer, you can even build your own theme from scratch using Issuu Markup Language (IML).
Who can use this? Anyone who knows how to upload files to a web server and can follow a recipe can customize Issuu's viewer. It's really not that hard and almost anything is possible, so dig in!

Searching Issuu
Using Issuu Markup Language and the Search API, you can
integrate Issuu with your own online application!
You
can use Issuu's Search API to search Issuu publications, comments, and
users. Anyone can use our API to search and retrieve Issuu content. The
API is a powerful tool for our web partners and other 3rd party
developers. Simple query examples can be found in the
quick-start guide. Developers can check out demo code and find more
technical details in our API reference.
